Pub Quiz - Sports Round
|
As i'm sure you are all aware, I'm a bloody decent chap and upstanding figure in the community. As such I have been asked to put together some questions for a charity pub quiz.
Now of course I not only love giving my time to charitable work but rather than hog all the warm feeling that comes from such work myself, I thought i'd give you good people a chance of sharing in this amazing work by suggesting some questions.
Over the next couple of days I will ask for questions on 5 categories. The first one being Sport.
So furnish me if you will with your favourite pieces of sports trivia and when their is a cure for Cancer you can stand up and say 'Hey, I helped find that cure'.
You're welcome

Dr Congo 4:15 Thu Nov 20 Re: Pub Quiz - Sports Round Malcolm Nash. I used to watch Glamorgan cricket as a kid in that era and he was unlucky not to get capped, used to open the bowling left-arm off a very short run and he could hit too.
Congo, wasn't Malcolm Nash the unlucky bowler who Gary Sobers hit six sixes in one over off?

No it's Blackburn...
Rovers 1884 and Olympic 1883
The other one was Liverpool/Everton (1965/66).
West Brom and Villa is not correct as both not Birmingham

Who did Harald Schumacher flatten with a body slam and not even get a foul called, never mind booked for?
Patrick Battiston
By some margin the worst challenge I have ever seen at a major tournament.
